Thanks for another insightful post. It again begs the question though, if they have aggregated data products that are of such high commercial value, as intuitively it feels as though it is, why can’t the company make any money? This whole ‘we are investing in the future ahead of future revenue’ argument wears a little thin after a while – surely if you’ve got a commercially valuable product, at some point the revenues ought to flow ahead of costs, allowing you to fund higher higher development & growth expenditure through operating cash flow while also being highly profitable. Thoughts?
